These are two of clubs England’s grand old clubs but both are desperate to end long trophy draughts.

Tottenham last won a major honour in 2008, lifting the League Cup.

Everton though haven’t won any silverware since winning the FA Cup way back in 1995.

The hopes of doing just that in May 2021 will end for one of these two clubs here.

Tottenham Hotspur lifted some of the doom and gloom on Sunday with a much needed victory.

The deadly duo of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min downing West Bromwich Albion at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Before that, Spurs had lost three league games in a row for the first time in almost a decade so are down in seventh.

Nevertheless, they’re still in the FA Cup after wins over Marine and Wycombe Wanderers.

José Mourinho’s men have also reached the Carabao Cup Final and the UEFA Europa League round of 32.

Will they remain in all four competitions?

Everton meanwhile have seen off Championship clubs Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday to get this far.

In the Premier League, Carlo Ancelotti’s side are also in terrific form.

On Sunday night, they came from 2-0 down and then 3-2 down to draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Abdoulaye Doucouré and then James Rodríguez initially getting them back level before Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s 95th minute finish saw the game finish 3-3.

The Toffees are now unbeaten in seven Premier League away games, taking 21 points from the last 33 available overall.

This means they sit sixth, one point and one place above Spurs.

Who will book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals at Goodison Park?
