Arsenal have never lost five league home matches in a row and that, just about, remains the case.

On Wednesday evening, the Gunners came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Southampton at the Emirates.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalising with just his third goal of the season.

Gabriel Magalhães was also sent off with half an hour to go, increasing the belief that that was a good point for Arsenal.

Before that, Mikel Arteta’s men had lost four straight home games to Leicester, Aston Villa, Wolves and, last weekend, Burnley.

They’ve still only won one of their last nine and are down in 15th, just five points above the bottom three and ten points outside the top four.

Will Arsenal end their six match winless run?

Everton meanwhile had suddenly found form again.

The Toffees started this season with seven straight wins in all competitions, the first time they’d done that since the 19th century, before only winning one of their next seven.

However, so far this week, Carlo Ancelotti’s men have beaten the sides who finished fourth and fifth last season.

A week ago, Gylfi Sigurðsson’s penalty down Chelsea at home.

Then, on Wednesday, Richarlison and Mason Holgate scored in a 2-0 victory over Leicester City.

This has lifted the Blues into fifth place, nine points better off than their visitors.

Will Arsenal claim a huge win at Goodison Park?
