Hector Cuper on the Liverpool star:
I can almost 100 percent say he will play, save for any unforeseen factors at the last minute.
We’re trying to make him feel confident. The doctors are giving him the options to play or not. I know Salah very well, he’s not fearful, we always know we’re running a risk when playing a match, that’s something we can’t hide.
But if he does decide to play he’ll have full guarantees on his physical condition and I’m sure he will be fine. And if it does turn out there’s an issue at the last minute we’ll consider it and see if it can be resolved.
Everyone loves @MoSalah that Brazilian fans are wishing him a happy birthday.

Will Mohamed Salah be fit for Egypt for their World Cup opener against Uruguay?
Ever since the Liverpool star was injured in the Champions League final, millions of Egyptians have been praying for Salah’s recovery.
Salah is undoubtedly Egypt’s star player after he exceeded all expectations scoring 41 goals in all competitions for Liverpool last season.
But even if Salah isn’t fit to start the Pharaohs do have other potential goal scorers, including new Huddersfield Town winger Ramadan Sobhi.
The Pharaohs have been through a rough patch of form having scored only one goal since their talismanic attacker Salah fell pray to injury through his shoulder.
Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny will start in central midfield, while West Brom duo Ali Gabr and Ahmed Hegazi are expected to start in the heart of defence.
Hector Cuper has constructed a tight knitted unit in Egypt where they have only lost one game by more than a 1 goal margin since he took over in 2015.
As for Uruguay, are they the dark horses to win the World Cup in Russia?
Uruguay, under Oscar Tabarez, will be confident that the team they have can give any team in the tournament a run for their money
Uruguay finished the South American qualifiers in second place. Uruguay ended ten points behind Brazil, but three points above Argentina.
Of course, Uruguay have two of the best forwards in world football in their attack. Barcelona’s Luis Suarez and PSG’s Edinson Cavani can both tears defences apart with ease.
Cavani was the top scorer in the South American qualifiers with 10 goals. Suarez scored five times in the qualifiers.
Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani who can brag 71 goals in as little 99 games between the pair of them.
Arsenal target Lucas Torreira is likely to start the match on the subs bench. Juventus midfielder Rodriguo Bentancur – Uruguay’s youngest squad member – could start instead.
Another strength Uruguay will be relying on is the wall they have at the back in Godin and Gimenez. The pair are a good combination of tactical discipline, aggression, pace and cohesion. They will prove a mountain for any team in the World Cup to break down whilst they will benefit from their chemistry and understanding from club level, both plying their craft at Atletico Madrid.
