Two serial trophy winners go head to head for a place in the FA Cup Final.

This century, Chelsea have won 20 major honours, more than any other English clubs, including six FA Cups.

They’re looking to reach their tenth FA Cup final since 2000, doing so last season.

The good news fo Blues fans is that the only team to beat them in an FA Cup Final since 1994 is Arsenal who exited the competition in round four.

Manchester City meanwhile have won 14 trophies since 2011 and could add four to that tally before the end of the season.

Despite losing to Leeds last weekend, Pep Guardiola’s side are 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League and it’s only a matter of time before that is confirmed.

They’re also going to return to Wembley in eight days time for the Carabao Cup Final against Spurs.

This semi-final could be a high-stakes dress rehearsal for the Champions League Final at İstanbul’s Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı in May.

On Tuesday night, Chelsea overcame Porto, winning the first leg 2-0 at Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán before losing 1-0 in the return game at the same venue.

Thomas Tuchel’s side will face Real Madrid in the semi-finals.

Manchester City meanwhile beat Borussia Dortmund, winning both legs 2-1.

On Wednesday, they came from behind at Westfalenstadion with Riyad Mahrez converting a penalty and then Phil Foden sealed the victory from long-range.

Paris Saint-Germain await them in the last four.

Before that, who will book their place in the FA Cup Final and take on Southampton or Leicester City next month?

Prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Manchester City

The last 14 meetings between these two clubs have produced nine Manchester City victories and five Chelsea wins.

They last met at Wembley in the 2019 Carabao Cup Final, a game famous for Kepa Arrizabalaga refusing to be substitute.

That match finished goalless with Man City winning the shootout.
