Given that La Real’s last two games are against Villarreal and then Atlético Madrid, this is must win.

However, scoring goals remains a problem with Real Sociedad who’ve netted just 12 times in front of their own fans all season.

Although, these goals have been used efficiently with La Real earning 32 points at home so far, thanks to eight 1-0 home wins, their other home victory being 2-0.

Cádiz meanwhile also need points if they’re to stay in the Primera División.

El Submarino Amarillo took a giant step towards safety on Saturday, beating Elche 3-0 at Estadio Ramón de Carranza.

Álvaro Negredo broke the deadlock against ten-men with just ten minutes remaining before Rubén Sobrino and Choco Lozano sealed the win.

This means Sergio’s side have won four of their last nine games, featuring a memorable 1-0 victory over Barcelona at Camp Nou.

Thus, the Pirates come into this midweek round 16th, three points clear of danger.

Cádiz’s last two games are against champions Real Madrid at home, before a trip to Alavés who are currently bottom and will, probably, be relegated by then.

This game is key for both, so will Anoeta witness another 1-0 home win?

Mikel Oyarzabal, Carlos Fernández and Ander Barrenetxea are all injured, so Alexander Isak and Alexander Sørloth will continue to lead the attack.

David Silva was in-behind at Levante on Friday night; Portu, who’s yet to score in La Liga this season, and Adnan Januzaj are the other options.

Diego Rico will keep his place at left-back with Nacho Monreal out long-term.

Lucas Pérez, who scored the winner at Camp Nou, and Álvaro Negredo have been Sergio’s first-choice strike partnership.

However, Chuco Lozano and Rubén Sobrino both netted off the bench against Elche, meaning the manager has a decision to make.
