After a momentous week in terms of results, Granada are now almost there as they bid to survive in La Liga.
Last weekend, el Graná demolished relegation-rivals Mallorca 6-2 at Son Moix, scoring 6+ in a top-flight game for the first time in 64 years.
Jorge Molina, mere days after his 40th birthday, coming off the bench to score twice and provide two assists in Palma.
Then, on Tuesday night, Aitor Karanka’s side won again, this time beating Athletic Club Bilbao 1-0 at Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes.
Álex Collado got the only goal, pouncing on some lackadaisical Athletic defending, playing a neat one-two with Myrto Uzuni before finishing calmly.
So, having taken eight points from four games under Karanka, Granada now have 37 points to their name and another victory here would guarantee survival.
Real Betis meanwhile also enjoyed a memorable win early on Tuesday evening, hammering Valencia 3-0 at Mestalla.
Willian José broke the deadlock just after the interval with a smart finish that nutmegged the goalkeeper.
Béticos’ other two goals came in the final three minutes, first a sweet strike from Sergio Canales before a poachers finish by Borja Iglesias.
Having already won the Copa del Rey, this will be a very successful season for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
However, to have any chance of gatecrashing the Champions League places, los Verdiblancos need to win their last two La Liga games.
Who will prevail at Estadio Benito Villamarín?

With Héctor Bellerín and Martín Montoya both out injured, Youssouf Sabaly will keep his place at right-back.
William Carvalho returned to midfield on Tuesday, alongside Guido Rodríguez, and could start again, chosen over Andrés Guardado.
Up front, Willian José’s opener against Valencia could see him keep his place over Borja Iglesias who’s been in decent form of late.
Granada team news

With Raúl Torrente, Carlos Neva and Neyder Lozano all injured, Granada are short of defensive options.
But, Sergio Escudero and Quini could keep their places at full-back, over Santiago Arias.
Likewise, in the middle, Germán Sánchez can’t get back into the side right now due to the form of captain Víctor Díaz and Domingos Duarte.
Up front, Jorge Molina’s astonishing cameo off the bench against Mallorca earned him a start on Tuesday.
So, the 40 year old will continue to lead the attack, chosen over Luis Suárez and Carlos Bacca.
