Espanyol vs Osasuna betting tips: La Liga preview, predictions and odds

Osasuna are unbeaten in three meetings with Espanyol, winning three on the bounce before a goalless draw in Pamplona in August. Only three of their last nine clashes have produced more than two goals.

Under 2.5 goals is 8/11.

Raúl de Tomás has scored 38 goals since the start of last season, but has never found the net in five appearances against Osasuna. He is 15/4 to break the deadlock and 5/4 to put that right.

Can Osasuna push on and secure a top half finish?

Last weekend, despite taking the lead through Ante Budimir's penalty, Osasuna were held to a 1-1 draw by Elche.

The host's equaliser coming just five minutes from time at Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero.

Nevertheless, having won four of their previous six outings, Jagoba Arrasate's side are sat ninth, on course for their highest finish in a decade.

RCD Espanyol meanwhile are currently 14th, all but safe from relegation, which represents a solid season for a newly-promoted club.

Vicente Moreno’s team though have lost their last three, most recently a 4-0 drubbing at the Bernabéu last weekend as Real Madrid were crowned champions.

Having only won one of their last five, losing the other four, the Catalan club have slipped two places and won't want to end the season in poor form.

Who will win this mid-table matchup at RCDE Stadium?

Espanyol team news

Top-scorer Raúl de Tomás will continue to lead the line with Wǔ Lěi, who scored an 89th minute winner in Espanyol's last victory, on the bench again.

40 year old goalkeeper Diego López will make his 385th appearance in La Liga.

Osasuna team news

Striker Ante Budimir is in red-hot form just now having scored in six consecutive La Liga games.

He is the first player to achieve this for the club in the 21st century.

Chimy Ávila will continue to partner the record-breaker in attack.
