Can Villarreal get their European aspirations back on track?
A fortnight ago, el Submarino Amarillo were beaten 1-0 at Estadio Ramón de Carranza by Cádiz, the only goal coming in stoppage time.
This is understandable given that, four days earlier, Villarreal had enjoyed a momentous Champions League victory, smashing Juventus 3-0 in Turin.
So, coming up on Wednesday, they’ll host Bayern Munich in the club’s first Champions League quarter-final for 13 years.
Back in La Liga, Unai Emery’s side are currently seventh, three points below Real Sociedad, so currently sit below the guaranteed European places.
Given that these two clubs are located just 37 miles apart, this is a Valencia derby but one that’s unlikely to be on the calendar next year.
That’s because Levante are still rock bottom of the table, eight points from safety.
Alessio Lisci’s side did show signs of life in February, amassing seven points from three games, including beating Atlético Madrid away from home.
But, since this mini-revival, the Frogs have added just one point from three fixtures, most recently losing 3-1 to Osasuna at El Sadar.
With just nine games to go, if Levante are going to pull off a great escape, it’s going to have to start soon.
Will Villarreal be too strong at Estadi Ciutat de València?

Roger’s goal in defeat against Osasuna should see him keep his place up front.
José Luis Morales could continue as his partner with Enis Bardhi in behind and Roberto Soldado left on the bench.
Shkodran Mustafi was on the bench in that game so could feature for the first time since 11 December after a long-term knee injury.

Despite hosting German champions Bayern Munich next midweek, Unai Emery can’t afford to rest and rotate here.
Gerard Moreno made his first appearance since 6 February away to Juventus and, now fully fit, will be a complete game changer.
He could partner Arnaut Danjuma in attack with Boulaye Dia dropping out and Giovanni Lo Celso returning to midfield.
