After 35 games at Internacional, former Manchester United midfielder Anderson opened his account for his new employers on Wednesday night in the Brazilian Cup.
Anderson found the target early in the second half, after Palmeiras had established a 2-goal advantage in the opening 45.
Anderson’s goal was a total solo effort, as the 27-year-old won possession in the middle of the pitch, before the Internacional man went on a solo run towards the goal.
Anderson rolled his luck as he managed to get past a couple of the defenders, before he steered a left-footed strike in the bottom corner.
Palmeiras went on to win the match 3-2.
