Back in training
Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey have both returned to training ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League match against Ludogorets on Wednesday night.
Aaron Ramsey suffered an injury on the opening day of the season against Liverpool. The Welshman was rushed back after a long Euro 2016 campaign in the summer and hasn’t featured since.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said the player must now go through a full pre-season before playing again to ensure he doesn’t re-injure himself.
Alexis Sanchez has been preferred to Olivier Giroud up front, even when the French striker has been available. In recent weeks Giroud has been out injured with a toe injury and another unspecified injury.
With Sanchez in red-hot form, it’ll be hard for Giroud to regain his place as Arsenal’s first-choice striker.

The Gunners recently installed a new injury-reducing pitch at their training ground, with the hope of preventing training ground knocks.
The revolutionary training turf is said to reduce injuries from occuring by up to 40% and has been used by West Ham, Lyon and Real Madrid.
