Relegated in his first season in Japanese football, 35 year old Diego Forlan is now strutting his stuff in the 2nd tier of Japanese football.
The former Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan striker played a big part in today’s 2-0 win over Yokohama FC.
Having missed a first half penalty, Diego Forlan made up for it with a superb assist for Brazilian teammate Pablo.
Forlan’s cross was inch perfect and Pablo just needed to get a toe on it to make it 2-0.
