Leicester make Champions League debut
Premier League champions Leicester City tonight made their bow in the Champions League, visiting Belgian club Club Brugge in the opening game of the group stage.
Marc Albrighton gave the Foxes the lead within 5 minutes and Algerian PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez doubled the lead with a stunning free kick.
Riyad Mahrez fabulous free kick
25-year-old Riyad Mahrez is yet to find the form he showed last season but his set-piece tonight reminded Premier League fans why they fell in love with the Leicester City winger last season.
Signed for £400,000, Mahrez went across the goalkeeper from just outside the box and the desperate diving keeper could get no way near it.
