Seattle late shows sinks the KC Wizards; Palmer scores a stunner as Houston breeze past Chivas USA

Seattle Sounders 1 – KC Wizards 0 (MLS, April 17, 2010) Michael Fucito netted his first career goal in the 92nd minute to give Seattle a 1-0 win over the Wizards.

Houston Dynamo 3 – Chivas USA 0 (MLS, April 17, 2010) An outstanding goal for Lovel Palmer in his first MLS start and further goals from Geoff Cameron and Dominic Oduro were the icing on the cake for a Dynamo side that dominated Chivas USA from start to finish.

New York Red Bulls 2 – FC Dallas 1 (MLS, April 17, 2010) FC Dallas scored in the 10th minute through Dax McCarty’s header, but a second half Juan Pablo Angel double, including a last minute penalty, lead New York to the three points.

DC United 0 – Chicago Fire 2 (MLS, April 17, 2010) Marco Pappa scored in the 79th minute, finishing high past goalkeeper Troy Perkins after McBride’s back-heel flick redirected Patrick Nyarko’s cross. Brian McBride scored 10 minutes later, heading a long ball from his own goalkeeper, Andrew Dykstra, past Perkins and inside the near post to seal Chicago’s first win in Washington since May of 2008.
