VIDEO: Manchester United’s Under-18s edge rivals City in a dramatic 5-goal thriller

Manchester City 2 – Manchester United 3 (Premier Academy League, April 27, 2010) The new generation of Manchester City stars were in pole position at the break to record a fantastic victory over their United rivals as Ahmad Benali and Harry Bunn gave City a 2-nil first half lead after United twice failed to deal with set-pieces for the home side. In the second half though United’s kids turned the match around in spectacular circumstances, beginning when Paul Pogba hauled United back into the contest with a fine goal on the hour mark. In the 73rd minute the Red Devils were back on level terms when Norwegian forward Joshua King crashed home a brilliant strike off the crossbar. Then, with the match ticking over into injury time, Joshua King rose highest to head home Nicky Ajose’s cross from the left to clinch a dramatic victory for Manchester United.
