Granada 1 – Valencia 2 (La Liga, January 5 2012) Granada took the lead through Brayan Angulo’s lovely lobbed shot early in the second half against Valencia. The visitors weren’t behind for long as Jonas scored a header from a corner. Los Che completed their comeback when Pablo Piatti scored from close range from Jonas’ squared pass.

Levante 3 – Athletic Bilbao 1 (La Liga, January 5 2012) A patient Bilbao build-up finished with an Aritz Aduriz header into the bottom corner. Levante levelled through Christian Lell. Aymeric Laporte was sent off just before half time for a clumsy last man challenge. Vicente Iborra pulled Levante back in front with a brave header. Nabil El Zhar made it 3-1 with a low drive from outside the box.
