Ibrahimovic and Bojan send Barca top; Villa leads Valencia to victory; Villarreal snatch draw at Tenerife; Mallorca grab a point at Racing

Barcelona 2 – Osasuna 0 (La Liga, March 24, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) After a goalless first half (highlights here) in which Osasuna had good chances to take the lead, Barca finally broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute when Zlatan Ibrahimovic found himself on the end of Maxwell’s ball across the box and tapped into an empty net.  The Catalans added a second at the death when Bojan turned in Iniesta’s cross from the left to seal the game.

Valencia 1 – Malaga 0 (La Liga, March 24, 2010) A single goal from David Villa was enough to give Los Che three more points in a match they dominated from start to finish.

Tenerife 2 – Villarreal 2 (La Liga, March 24, 2010) Nilmar headed Villarreal ahead at the end of the first half before Juan Francisco Martinez equalised in the 60th. Jose Antonio Culebras gave Tenerife the lead in the 76th before Giuseppe Rossi pulled the visitors level two minutes from the end.

Almeria 1 – Zaragoza 0 (La Liga, March 24, 2010) Kala Uche was the man in the right place to sweep home Pablo Piatti’s through pass and claim the points for Almeria.

Racing Santander 0 – Mallorca 0 (La Liga, March 24, 2010) Both sides put on an attacking display but neither Racing nor Mallorca could break the deadlock.

Valladolid 0 – Espanyol 0 (La Liga, March 24, 2010)
