Bragantino 3 – Ituano 4 (Campeonato Paulista, January 28, 2010) A ding-dong battle saw Simao hand the Ituano the lead, only for Lucio to level in the first half. Welton restored the visitors’ advantage in the 52nd, Godri levelled in the 66th, and Alemao put Ituano in the lead for the third time with 12 minutes remaining. The match had a frantic finish, Frontini helped Bragantino level for the third time in the match on for Rodrigao to steal the victory for Ituano in injury time.

Duque de Caixas 0 – Fluminense 4 (Campeonato Carioca, January 28, 2010) Marquinho scored as second half brace for Flu, while the hosts had Marlon and Fabio sent off at the end of each half.


Atletico Junior 2 – Racing 2 (Copa Libertadores qualification, January 28, 2010) Emerson Acuna opened the scoring for Junior in the 12th minute, but Mathias Mirabaje (28th) and Jose Pallas (67th) put Racing in front until Martin Arzuaga’s equaliser a minute into injury time. Racing striker Martin Cauteruccio was sent off in first-half stoppage time, while Junior defender Roller Cambindo was also given a red card in the 74th.
