Corinthians stay on top in Brazil; Flu win at Atletico MG; Internacional hit Atletico PR for four

Corinthians 4 – Santos 2 (Campeonato Brasileiro, May 30, 2010) Jorge Henrique put Corinthians in front after just three minutes. Felipe Andre equalised after the break but a minute later Bruno Cesar restored Corinthians’ lead. Ralf and Paulinho added further goals and Michel pulled one back. Corinthians are unbeaten in five and are two points clear at the top of the table.

Atletico MG 1 – Fluminense 3 (Campeonato Brasileiro, May 30, 2010) Muriqui slid the home side into the lead but Flu hit back with two goals in three minutes around the hour mark from Wellington Gum and Alan. Fred completed the win to send the Rio side into second place.

Internacional 4 – Atletico PR 1 (Campeonato Brasileiro, May 30, 2010) After a goalless first half Internacional took control thanks to goals from Walter, Gonzalo Sorondo and Andrezinho. Alecsandro claimed the fourth and Manoel notched a consolation.

Ceara 1 – Cruzeiro 0 (Campeonato Brasileiro, May 30, 2010) Ceara are second after an impressive 1-0 win at home to Cruzeiro, Wellington Lopes securing the deserved winner in the 39th minute. Cruzeiro had Wellington Paulista sent off 11 minutes from time.
