Copa Libertadores: Colo Colo beat Deportivo Italia to boost semi-final hopes; Universitario held by Blooming

Deportivo Italia 2 – Colo Colo 3 (Copa Libertadores, April 6, 2010) Emerson Panigutti opened the scoring for Deportivo with a close range back heel in the 15th minute, before Cristian Bogado leveled with a header from Miralles’ cross in the 26th. Ezequiel Miralles put Colo Colo ahead with an overhead kick in the 38th minute and gave the Chilean club a two-goal advantage in the 58th, sliding into finish from close range. Miralles missed the chance to claim a hat-trick when keeper Fernandez saved his penalty in the 75th minute. Richard Blanco scored a consolation penalty for Deportivo in the 86th.

Universitario Peru 0 – Blooming 0 (Copa Libertadores, April 6, 2010) Universitario’s home draw with Blooming moved the Peruvians to the top of their group while the Bolivians remain bottom with one point.
