Man City 3 – Tottenham 0
Spurs lost 3-0 in America on Saturday night as they slumped to defeat against Man City.
The match was dubbed the ‘Kyle Walker derby’ after the right back moved from Tottenham to the Sky Blues a couple of weeks ago.
Walker has become the world’s second most expensive defender after City signed Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.
City took the lead early on through centre-half John Stones. He headed the ball home from a deflected Kevin De Bruyne free-kick.
Spurs fell 2-behind in the 73rd minute when Raheem Sterling scored. He applied a clinical finish after the Tottenham defence had been split wide open.
Brahim Diaz completed the scoring at the death as the youngster finished from close range.
