Loanees from Liverpool, Newcastle & Joe Cole all score for the Sky Blues in a 4-3 win (Video)

The Ricoh Arena witnessed a fabulous game on Tuesday night as Coventry beat Barnsley in a 7-goal thriller.

The Sky Blues got off to a lightening start when Liverpool’s Ryan Kent scored his first professional goal in style.

Kent cut in from the left hand side and curled a right footer into the far post. The 18-year-old has since been recalled to Anfield by Jurgen Klopp.

Newcastle striker Adam Armstrong then chipped in with goals in the 18th and 52nd minutes to earn Coventry a 3-1 foothold in the match.

Barnsley pulled the score back to 3-2, before Aston Villa’s forgotten man Joe Cole stepped up to score from a free-kick.
