RVP leaves shooting boots at home in strange stalemate between Arsenal and Chelsea

Arsenal 0 – Chelsea 0 (Premier League, April 21st, 2012) (MOTD highlightsRobin Van Persie had the best chance of the 1st half, though just as against Milan, he went for style over substance and wasted the chance.  Chelsea had a slight penalty appeal waved away after a coming together between Ryan Bertrand and Bacary Sagna. Van Persie had another decent chance later in the half but he hit his shot straight at Petr Cech. Laurent Koscielny had another very good chance for Arsenal when he found himself completely unmarked in the Chelsea area, but his header came back off the crossbar. (First half highlights) Early in the second half, Fernando Torres made some space for himself with a nice turn inside the box, but he was cut out by Laurent Koscielny. Gary Cahill was lucky not to concede a penalty after a blatant push on Van Persie late on in the second half. Van Persie had yet another chance to get his goal late on, but hesitated and gave Cech enough time to close down the angle.
