Lazio cruise past Pescara; Totti inspires Roma; Wins for Catania, Fiorentina & Cagliari

Pescara 0 – Lazio 3 (Serie A, October 7, 2012) Hernanes struck a great long-range free-kick to give Lazio the lead against Pescara. Miroslav Klose scored Lazio’s second, calmly rounding the keeper and tapping into the empty net. Klose grabbed his second with a powerful downward header.

Roma 2 – Atalanta 0 (Serie A, October 7th, 2012) (Alternative Highlights) Roma took the lead on the half hour as Erik Lamela teamed up superbly with Francesco Totti to carve through the Atalanta backline for the young Argentine to score. Michael Bradley made it 2-0 to the Romans, lifting the ball over the ‘keeper from the rebound.

Catania 2 – Parma 0 (Serie A, October 7, 2012) Alejandro Dario Gomez struck for Catania when put through 1 v 1. Gonzalo Bergesio doubled Catania’s lead in the second half.

Fiorentina 1 – Bologna 0 (Serie A, October 7, 2012) Stevan Jovetic got the only goal of the game  early on for Fiorentina.

Torino 0 – Cagliari 1 (Serie A, October 7, 2012) Nene struck a penalty to give Cagliari the win.
