Nagoya win the SuperCup on penalties

Nagoya Grampus Eight 1 – Kashima Antlers 1 (Pens 3-1) (J-League SuperCup, February 26, 2011) Defender Takahiro Masukawa opened the scoring for Nagoya with a header off Fujimoto’s free kick in the 54 minutes, but midfielder Takuya Nozawa made it even with a direct free kick in the 66th minute. The match went to penalties where former Japan international goalkeeper Seigo Narazaki stopped three shots to help Nagoya Grampus to a 3-1 shoot-out victory over Kashima in the Super Cup.
