KofuÂ were level by the half hour as Mike Havenaar and Toshihiku Uchiyama restored parity.Â Brazilian import Paulinho then gave Kofu the advantage from the penalty spot early in the second half, though their lead was short-lived as Sota Nakazawa Â tied the scores in the 67th. Havenaar then nabbed his brace in the 70th minute to put Gamba away for good.
Kawasaki Frontale 3 – Kashiwa Reysol 2 (J-League, July 16, 2011)Â Kawasaki were 2-0 up at the break thanks to goals from Takuro Yajima and Yu Kobayashi, but an own goal from Kosuke Kikuchi nine minutes after the interval let the visitors back in it. Leandro Domingues completed the comeback after 71 minutes, but Juninho struck from the spot six minutes from time to earn his side all three points.
Shimizu S-Pulse 2 – Albirex Niigata 1 (J-League, July 16, 2011)Â Naohiro Takahara fired in the winner in the last minute as Shimizu S-Pulse came from behind to beat Albirex Niigata 2-1. Shinji Ono had scored from the spot to cancel out Naoki Ishikawa’s fifth-minute opener.
