Ronaldinho inspires Milan late show at Fiorentina; Udinese come from behind to beat Cagliari

Fiorentina 1 – AC Milan 2 (Serie A, February 24, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) Midway through the first half, Alberto Gilardino got the faintest of touches on a weak Jovetic effort to score against his former club. With ten minutes remaining Milan stole the ball off the careless Viola defence, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Ronaldinho played an incisive one-two to carve through the backline and the Dutchman applied the cool side-footed finish to equalise. And the Rosseneri pulled the rabbit out the hat with an injury time winner, Alexandre Pato drilled the ball into the back of the net after Ronaldinho has worked the space down the left hand side.

Udinese 2 – Cagliari 1 (Serie A, February 24, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) Cagliari needed just three minutes to break the deadlock at Udinese, the hosts failed to clear a corner and Jeda was left free in the area to head home from inside the six yard box. The Zebrette levelled in the 68th minute when Alexis Sanchez took advantage of Cagliari’s inability to clear their lines from a cross. And two minutes later the hosts got their noses in front as evergreen striker Antonio Di Natale finished off a tidy attack down the right.
