Milan crash at Palermo; Inter beat Napoli; Roma’s revival continues against Fiorentina

Inter Milan 2 – Napoli 1 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) Ivan Cordoba hooked Inter Milan into the lead against Napoli at the San Siro. Inter scored a brilliant second, Julio Cruz played a beautiful backheel into the path of Maicon, the Brazilian hit a cross-cum-shot and Sulley Muntari provided the deft finish to score. But Napoli got themselves back in the game when Ezequiel Lavezzi scored with a fine chip after a superb backheel from Marcelo Zalayeta.

Roma 1 – Fiorentina 0 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) The Giallorossi continued their superb recent form by beating the Viola, captain fantastic Francesco Totti scoring yet again to claim all three points.

Cagliari 1 – Sampdoria 0 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) A header from Jeda at the start of the second half was enough for the hosts to take all three points.

Genoa 1 – Bologna 1 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) Giuseppe Sculli headed Genoa in front on 55 minutes, but Marco Di Vaio’s close-range header eight minutes later clinched a draw for Bologna.

Udinese 0 – Chievo 1 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) Udinese, who had top striker Antonio Di Natale sent off, lost their fourth league game in a row when a late Felipe own goal gave bottom side Chievo a crucial away win and ended a six-game losing streak.

Siena 1 – Torino 0 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) Massimo Maccarone scored the only goal of the game with a low shot on 19 minutes as Siena won at home.

Atalanta 2 – Lazio 0 (Serie A, November 30, 2008) Jaime Valdes broke the deadlock on 54 minutes and Sergio Floccari added the second on 68 minutes from Simone Padoin’s pass.
