Inter inch past Palermo; Lazio down Parma; Roma sink Siena; Chievo & Udinese hit 4

Inter Milan 1 – Palermo 0 (Serie A, December 2, 2012)Inter forged ahead midway through the second half when Palermo defender Santiago Garcia turned a cross into his own net.

Lazio 2 – Parma 1 (Serie A, December 2, 2012)A scrappy goal from Giuseppe Biava from a corner hand Lazio the lead over Parma, and the Romans doubled their advantage in the 35th minute when Miroslav Klose hit the back of the net. Parma gave themselves hope when Ishak Belfodil scored midway through the second half.

Siena 1 – Roma 3 (Serie A, December 2, 2012) Neto’s booming header from a corner saw Siena take the lead against Roma. Siena were pegged back just after the hour when Mattia Destro finished a set-play with a close range header. Four minutes from time Roma completed their comeback when Simone Perrotta claimed the winner, and Roma still had time to notch an injury time third through Mattia Destro.

Genoa 2 – Chievo 4 (Serie A, December 2, 2012) An early Alberto Paloschi penalty put Chievo 1-up at Genoa, and Alberto Paloschi doubled the Flying Donkeys lead in the 21st minute. Ahmed Said pulled a goal back for Genoa before the break, but Alberto Paloschi chalked up his hat-trick before the break to re-open up the 2-goal cushion. Genoa rallied after the break when Bosko Jankovic thumped hom a half volley, but Chievo sealed their victory when Adrian Marius Stoian scored in the 90th.

Bologna 2 – Atalanta 1 (Serie A, December 2, 2012) A fiercely struck Alessandro Diamanti free-kick took a deflection to fire Bologna in front against Atalanta. The visitors hit back early in the second half through German Denis’ half volley across goal, but Bologna retook th elead in the 70th minute when Manolo Gabbiadini scored with a hooked volley in the box.

Udinese 4 – Cagliari 1 (Serie A, December 2, 2012) Udinese finished the first half on a high against Cagliari as Roberto Pereyra and Gabriele Angella both hit the target. Danilo made it 3-0 at the start of the second half, and Giovanni Pasquale cemented the hosts win with a 4th in the 67th. Daniele Dessena got Cagliari on the board ten minutes from time.
