England continued their preparation for this summer’s European Under-21 Championships with a 1-0 win over the Czech Republic.
The eagerly anticipated tournament will be held in the Czech Republic so this was a fine work out for Gareth Southgate’s side.
Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll, on loan at Swansea this season, grabbed the only goal of the game.
Carroll mopped up when a cross from Arsenal’s Calum Chambers was poorly defended.
Substitute Jesse Lingaard had a great chance to make it 2-0.
