Reus & Lewandowski lift Dortmund past Mainz; Schalke draw with Frankfurt; Bremen hold Wolfsburg

Mainz 1 – Borussia Dortmund 2 (Bundesliga, November 24, 2012) Mainz took the lead 4 minutes in through Caligiuri. Marco ‘Rolls’ Reus equalised for Dortmund with the tip of his stud (if he did at all touch it!) Robert Lewandowski made it 2-1 with a super scoop over the ‘keeper.

Schalke 1 – Eintracht Frankfurt 1 (Bundesliga, November 24, 2012) In the 11th minute Klaas-Jan Huntelaar headed wide from a corner, before firing in the opener in the same period of play. The hosts were ahead for just two minutes as Stefan Aigner levelled the scores in an entertaining first quarter of an hour.

Wolfsburg 1 – Werder Bremen 1 (Bundesliga, November 24, 2012) Wolfsburg twice hit the post and was denied a penalty before Eljero Elia crossed for the unmarked Marco Arnautovic to score for Bremen in the 35th. Bremen defender Lukas Schmitz was sent off with a second yellow in the 62nd, and Bad Dost equalised two minutes later after quick interplay between Diego and Vierinha.
