Bayern’s run halted in Nurnberg draw; Cacau hits four as Stuttgart batter Cologne; Dortmund hit four past Hannover

Nurnberg 1 – Bayern Munich 1 (Bundesliga, February 20, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) Bayern blew a chance to open up a three-point gap on Leverkusen after the Bavarian giants took the lead through player of the season Thomas Muller. Ilkay Gundogan bursts Bayern’s bubble equalising ten minutes into the second half.

FC Cologne 1 – Stuttgart 5 (Bundesliga, February 20, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) Brazilian-born German international Cacau scored three times in 25 minutes in the opening period before adding the fifth goal in the 74th as Stuttgart secured an emphatic win. Pavel Pogrebnyak was also on target for the visitors.

Borussia Dortmund 4 – Hannover 1 (Bundesliga, February 20, 2010) (Longer highlights here.) The hosts laid siege to the Hannover goal for the whole duration of the match and, although it took 43 minutes before Neven Subotic tapped in the opener, eventually claimed a comfortable 4-1 win. An own-goal from Mario Eggiman followed by a Nelson Valdez strike made it 3-0 before Arouna Kone and Kevin Grosskreutz traded late goals.
