Another cup final victory for PSG
PSG romped to victory in the Coupe de France final and Zlatan Ibrahimovic marked his final game for the Parisians with two goals.
The victory for runaway favourites always looked on as soon as Blaise Matuidi put PSG in front on three minutes played. Angel Di Maria bagged a glorious outside-the-boot assist for the PSG opener.
Marseille equalised on 12 minutes as Florian Thauvin turned on the edge of the box and fired home.
Zlatan at the double
It stayed 1-1 until two minutes into the second half, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic cracked home a penalty to regain the lead for Laurent Blanc’s side.
Ten minutes later, Zlatan teed up Edinson Cavani for PSG’s third goal.
On 82, Blaise Matuidi set up Zlatan for the fourth PSG goal, as the super Swedish striker showed no mistake after running through.
Michy Batshuayi bagged a late consolation for Marseille in what could be his final goal for the club ahead of an expected summer move.
