PSG win in Marseille for the first time in five years

Marseille 2 – PSG 4 (Ligue 1, October 26, 2008) Hoarau gave PSG to an early lead at Stade Velodrome, but Marseille have taken the lead by halftime with goals from Mamadou Niang and Mathieu Valbuena. Pegguy Luyindula scored in the 53rd minute to pull PSG back level, then Jerome Rothen put his side in front in the 77th. Hoarau added his second goal in the 82nd to cap the memorable second half, and give PSG its first win at Marseille in five years. (Rothen & Hoarau goals here.)

St Etienne 0 – Grenoble 2 (Ligue 1, October 26, 2008) Benalouane’s third minute own goal and Dja Djedje 82nd minute header sealed a fine away win for Grenoble.

Nancy 1 – Sochaux 1 (Ligue 1, October 26, 2008) Stephane Dalmat gave Sochaux a half-time lead, but they were unable to hold on as Marc-Antoine Fortune’s effort 15 minutes from time earned Nancy a share of the spoils.
