Lens 1 – Valenciennes 1 (Ligue 1, February 5, 2011) The game exploded into life 10 minutes before the interval when the home side moved into the ascendancy, Issam Jemaaâ€™s following up his own blocked effort to prod into an empty net. Les Sang et Orâ€™s advantage lasted a mere three minutes as Mathieu Dossevi was quick to level matters, flicking home a neat near post header following a fine cross from Gael Danic.
Caen 0 – Lorient 2 (Ligue 1, February 5, 2011) Lorient moved into the lead on 21 minutes, Franco Sosa got forward effectively from his right-back role, sending a fine first-time ball into the net that was headed home by Morgan Amalfitano. Kevin Gameiro finished the game off, showing strength and a cool head with five minutes remaining.
Brest 2 – Nancy 1 (Ligue 1, February 5, 2011) Alex Dupontâ€™s side build some excellent pressure immediately before the interval, and it was made to pay by debutant Jonathan Ayite, whose diving header at the back post from a Bruno Grougi centre was excellent.
