PSG’s quest to win a historic quadruple this season inched a little closer on Saturday when Laurent Blanc’s side thrashed Bastia 4-0 to win the French League Cup.
Paris-Saint Germain strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani both scored twice as the title holders thrashed 10-man Bastia 4-0 in the final.
Ibrahimovic opened the score from the penalty spot after Sebastien Squillaci was sent off and Zlatan doubled the lead just before halftime.
Substitute Cavani scored twice in the final ten minutes to ease PSG to the victory.
Next week PSG resume their Champions League campaign with a quarter-final clash against Barcelona.
