Porto reach the Portuguese cup final; Gala edge Antalyaspor in the cup

FC Porto 1 – Academica 0 (Carlsberg Cup, February 10, 2010) Porto broke the deadlock through Mariano Gonzalez’s brilliant 25-yard curler in the 81st minute to set up a dream final against Benfica.

Caner Erkin notched the winner four minutes from time when the left winger drilled a low shot into the far corner.

Trabzonspor 1 – Istanbul Buyuksehir 0 (Turkiye Kupasi, February 10, 2010) Trabzonspor defender Giray Kacar put the hosts ahead against Istanbul Buyuksehir five minutes before the break when the centre-half met a free-kick in the box to glance a header into the net.

Xanthi 1 – Aris 1 (Greek Cup, February 10, 2010) On a bog of a pitch which deteriorated worse and worse as the match progressed, Florin Stanga stabbed the hosts in the lead 20 minutes from time but Aris battled to claim an injury time equaliser when Neto bundled the ball into the net from a set piece.
