Panathinaikos win the Greek league; Baros hits trips for Gala; Figueiredo wonder-goal lifts Malmo; Rosenborg win

Panathinaikos 2 – Iraklis 0 (Greek Super League, April 11, 2010) Panathinaikos made a perfect start at the Olympic Stadium when France striker Djibril Cisse converted Sebastian Leto’s headed pass in the first minute for his 29th goal of the season. Young Greek Sotiris Ninis made it 2-0 on the stroke of halftime with a stunning volley from the edge of the penalty area, as Pana won their first league title in six years.

Panthrakikos 0 – Olympiakos 2 (Greek Super League, April 11, 2010) Olympiacos netted twice in the first 45 minutes to earn a 2-0 win at Panthrakikos, with Vassilis Torosidis and Kostas Mitroglou scoring.

PAOK 1 – Kavala 0 (Greek Super League, April 11, 2010) Zlatan Muslimovic’s goal on the stroke of halftime proved the difference.

Panionios 0 – Larissa 3 (Greek Super League, April 11, 2010) Eighth-placed Larissa beat Panionios 3-0, with Tumer Metin, Salim Toama and Daniel Cousin on target.


Galatasaray 4 – Diyarbakirspor 1 (Super Lig, April 11, 2010) Milan Baros bagged a brace in the opening 28 minutes before Lucas Neill made it 3-nil in the 51st minute. A minute later Baros notched his hat-trick goal before Gustave Bebbe pulled one back in the 72nd minute for the visitors.

Helsingborg 2 – Elfsborg 1 (Allsvenskan, April 11, 2010) Gashi smacked in a brilliant 30-yard half volley to open for the hosts, Denni Avdic levelled with a header for Elfsborg before Markus Holgersson bagged the winner for Helsingborg in the 63rd minute.
