NAC breeze past Den Haag; Maritmo sink Sporting; Honda cracker helps CSKA win away at Anji; Bursaspor drop points in Istanbul

NAC 3 – ADO Den Haag 0 (Eredivisie, March 26, 2010) The hosts who took the lead in the 34th minute, Amoah sprayed the ball out to the left to Anthony Lurling who advanced into the area and powered a left-footed shot into the far top corner. NAC grabbed a second 10 minutes from time and again Amoah was involved, as he headed down Gilissen’s right-wing cross for Kees Kwakman to send a left-footed shot low into the far corner. Matthew Amoah put the result beyond doubt three minutes from time, Lurling charged down keeper Zwinkels’ attempted clearance and the loose ball fell to the unmarked Amoah, who slid it easily into the net.

Maritimo 3 – Sporting Lisbon 2 (Superliga, March 26, 2010) Maritimo took an early lead on 16 minutes when Brazilian striker Tcho finished off a quick counter-attack. Twenty minutes later Liedson did well to win the ball and play in Yannick Djalo, whose cross was turned into the net by Joao Pereira for the equaliser. In a frantic finish there were three goals in the final eight minutes. First, Florent Sinama Pongolle was in the wrong place at the wrong time as Guilherme’s header deflected off the Sporting man’s chest and ended up in the back of the net. Maritimo wrapped up the win thanks to a long-range strike from Claudio Pitbull. There was still time for more drama as Diakite upended Pongolle in the box, and the Frenchman picked himself up to convert the resulting penalty.

Mahamadou Dissa equalised for KSVR before the break and then Rukavytsya was involved in the build-up for Jeremy Huyghebeart’s 60th minute goal.
