PSV 4 – Groningen 2 (Eredivisie, December 6, 2008) The visitors raced into a two-goal lead thanks to strikes by Marcus Berg and Goran Lovre. But PSV ripped their opponents to shreds after the break and four goals in 14 minutes from Otman Bakkal (first and second) and Danko Lazovic (first and second), who scored two apiece.

Perbet pulled a goal back for the away side but Legear immediately replied for the hosts.
