Besiktas held; Fenerbahce win away; Aris upset AEK

Besiktas 1 – Karabukspor 1 (Turkey Super Lig, February 5, 2011) Emmanuel Emenike put the away side in front,  an og by Armand Demi levelled things up.

Manisaspor 1 – Fenerbahce 3 (Turkey Super Lig, February 5, 2011) Kahe’s opener for Manisaspor was cancelled out by Alex (penalty), Mamadou Niang and Issiar Dia.

Kasimpasa 1 – Istanbul Buyuksehir 3 (Turkey Super Lig, February 5, 2011) Ersen Martin nudged Kasimpasa 1-0 ahead after ten minutes, but Samuel Holmen brought the visitors level in the 25th minute and Gokhan Unal made it 2-1 in their favour after 51 minutes. Ali Guzeldal added a further goal after 69 minutes.


Asteras Tripolis 1 – Larissa 1 (Greek Super League, February 5, 2011) The hosts went ahead when Sebastian Carrera scored after 12 minutes, and Pereira Romeu netted an equaliser in the 35th minute.

AEK Athens 1 – Aris 2 (Greek Super League, February 5, 2011) Fourth-placed AEK fell behind in the 29th minute when Darcy Neto slotted home for Aris, but drew level after 51 minutes thanks to Ismael Blanco’s close-range volley. Neto restored the visitors’ lead after 75 minutes with an elegant left-footed strike after working space just inside the penalty area, and AEK later had David Ramajo sent off in the 90th minute.
