Ajax win the KNVB Beker (Dutch Cup); Heracles earn draw at Roda in the play-offs; Utrecht close to Europa League berth

Feyenoord 1 – Ajax 4 (KNVB Beker final, May 6, 2010) (Agg. 1-6) Ajax took a two-goal lead on the night and a four-goal lead overall with Luis Suarez scoring with a fine long range effort after four minutes and Siem De Jong claiming his third goal of the tie. Jon Dahl Tomasson pulled a goal back for the hosts but an emphatic victory was confirmed with De Jong and Suarez adding a goal each. (Trophy celebrations here.)

Roda 1 – Heracles 1 (Eredivisie Europa League play-off, May 6, 2010) The hosts had gone ahead against the run of play when Mads Junker struck in the 39th minute before Bas Dost got Heracles back on level terms.

FC Utrecht 3 – Groningen 1 (Eredivisie Europa League play-off, May 6, 2010) Ricky van Wolfswinkel opened the scoring after 22 minutes and Nana Asare added a second barely a minute later. Tim Matavz pulled one back five minutes before the break, but Andreas Granqvist put through his own net to deal Groningen a sucker punch in the last minute.
