France 0 – Uruguay 0 (International friendly, November 20, 2008) It was another disappointing night for Les Bleus, the highlight being the debut of Steve Savidan of Caen, a 30-year striker who only turned pro at 26.
Colombia 1 – Nigeria 0 (International friendly, November 20, 2008) A goal nine minutes from time from striker Radamel Falcao Garcia settled the match.
Figueirense 4 – Nautico 3 (Campeonato Brasileiro, November 20, 2008) Nautico took a surprise lead within a minute from the kick-off through Felipe, but Figueirense hit back two minutes later with a strike from Tadeu. Cleiton Xavier put the hosts ahead in the 9th minute, only for Vagner to draw Nautico level 6 minutes later. Diogo restored the home advantage just before the break, but Felipe levelled the score for the visitors in the 72nd minute. Finally a Bruno Perone goal in the 83rd minute gave the home side a vital victory that improves their chances of avoiding the drop.
