VIDEO: Pre-season wins for Leeds, Sunderland, Birmingham, Bristol City & Portsmouth

Leeds 3 – Wolves 1 (Pre-season friendly, July 31, 2010) Max Gradel scored an absolute cracker to give Leeds the lead. Sylvan Ebanks Blake hit back for the Premier League side but further goals by Lloyd Sam and Bradley Johnson gave the home side a morale boosting win.

Leicester 1 – Sunderland 2 (Pre-season friendly, July 31, 2010) Frazier Campbell continued his fine pre-season with Sunderland’s first, Andy King equalised and Jordan Henderson scored Sunderland’s second thanks to a horror show from Chris Weale.

Derby 1 – Birmingham 2 (Pre-season friendly, July 31, 2010) Martin Blake headed home a Larsson corner for the opener and a horrible kick from Bywater saw the ball rebound off the onrushing Larsson for Brum’s second. Gareth Roberts pulled one back, lashing the ball into the top corner.

Bristol City 2 – Blackpool 0 (Pre-season friendly, July 31, 2010) Ian Holloway missed this defeat as he was scouting for players and Keith Southern picked up a serious injury. Ivan Sproule and David Clarkson scored the goals for the Championship side.

Portsmouth 1 – Fulham 0 (Pre-season friendly, July 31, 2010) Mark Wilson gave Pompey fans something to cheer after a horrible pre-season. Mark Hughes watched from the stands before his first training session on Monday.
