Leicester ease the pressure on Claudio Ranieri
Premier League champions Leicester are in the fifth round of the FA Cup after beating Derby at the second attempt.
Under pressure Claudio Ranieri made a number of changes to his Leicester first team for the visit of Derby and the Foxes won out in extra time.
After a goalless first half, Leicester took the lead a minute after half-time via Andy King from a Marc Albrighton assist.
Just after the hour, Derby equalised through Abdoul Camara’s deflected free-kick.
In extra-time, Leicester took control on 94 minutes, Riyad Mahrez fed Onyinye Ndidi and the Nigerian cracked in a beauty off the post.
The Leicester victory was completed on 114 minutes played: Demarai Gray scoring after a fine run between two Derby defenders.
Leicester will play Millwall in the FA Cup 5th round.
