Helsingborg put Slask to the sword as Sorum hits a hat-trick

Helsingborg 3 – Slask Wroclaw 1 (Agg. 6-1) (Champions League 3rd round 2nd leg qualifier, August 8, 2012) Helsingborg, 3-up from the first leg, started the second leg in a far too relaxed fashion and they were punished when Christian Omar Diaz fired Slask ahead in the 31st. The Swedes levelled just before the break as Thomas Sorum got the final touch after Slask’s backline was torn apart down the left hand side. Slask were dead and buried early in the second half when Thomas Sorum bagged his second of the match, and in the 68th minute Thomas Sorum completed his hat-trick to open up a 6-1 aggregate lead.
