Bayern narrowly beat Hamburg after Lewandowski directs Muller’s shot in (Video)

Robert Lewandowkski was the hero last night for Bayern Munich as the German champions narrowly edged past Hamburg in the first Bundesliga game of 2016.

The forward put the away side ahead from the penalty spot in the first half after Thomas Muller was taken out by Hamburg goalkeeper Rene Adler. Pierre-Michel Lasogga later equalised for the hosts.

Then midway through the second half Lewandowski got a touch on a Muller shot to direct it beyond Adler for the Bayern winner. Replays show that he was onside. See the winning goal in the videos below.
