Will Norway rubber stamp promotion to League A?
Back in June, Ståle Solbakken’s side accumulated ten points from four games, beating Serbia in Belgrade and Sweden home and away.
Erling Braut Håland scoring five of their six goals, taking his tally to 11 Nations League goals in just eight appearances.
So, the Lions are sitting pretty in first place, knowing that if they better Serbia’s matchday five result, promotion to the top-tier will be secured.
Slovenia meantime are the only team who’ve managed to take a point off Norway so far.
Despite having Miha Blažič sent off on the hour mark, they battled to a goalless draw at Ullevål Stadion.
However, Matjaž Kek’s team sit bottom of the section with just two point to their name, the other coming in a 2-2 draw with Serbia in Ljubljana.
They actually found themselves 2-0 down in that one, but quick-fire goals from Adam Gnezda Čerin and star forward Benjamin Šeško salvaged a draw.
Nevertheless, Slovenia remain at the foot of the table, one point below Sweden, in desperate need of a win to avoid an immediate return to League C.
Will it be a night of celebration for Norway at Stadion Stožice?
