Poland vs Belgium betting tips: UEFA Nations League preview, predictions and odds

Belgium demolished Poland 6-1 in Brussels a week ago, this being the Eagles' biggest competitive defeat for 57 years. However, when meeting on Polish soil, Poland have won four of their last seven encounters with Belgium, losing only once.

Both teams to score is 4/5.

Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals is 13/10.

Robert Lewandowski is 4/1 to break the deadlock and 13/10 to add to his 76 international goals.

Match preview

Can either of these two teams keep pace with the current run-away leaders of Group A4 the Netherlands?

Seven days ago, the two played out a memorable encounter in Brussels, in which Robert Lewandowski broke the deadlock in the early stages.

However, after that, Belgium just scored stunning goal after stunning goal, running out 6-1 winners, all of which came in a 50 minute spree.

As the two meet again, will Poland exact some reverse in Warsaw?

Aside from that drubbing at the King Baudouin Stadium, it's all been positive for Czesław Michniewicz's team.

Back in March, the White and Reds qualified for the World Cup, beating Sweden 2-0 in Chorzów in the play-offs.

On Saturday night, Poland raced into a 2-0 lead in Rotterdam thanks to Matty Cash's cool finish and then Piotr Zieliński's close-range tap-in.

However, Netherlands scored twice in three minutes before being awarded a last-minute penalty, only for Memphis to slam it against the post.

Ultimately, the Eagles were lucky to leave De Kuip with a point but, having beaten Wales in Wrocław, this leaves Poland with four points to their name.

Belgium are only above their hosts on head-to-head record having also won once, drawn once and lost once at the mid-way point.

At the weekend, the Red Devils looked set to win in Cardiff, Youri Tielemans with a trademark finish, only to concede with just a minute to go.

Roberto Martínez's side were previously demolished 4-1 by Holland in their group opener, suffering a competitive home defeat for the first time since 2010.

So, if either of these two are to catch the Netherlands in September, this is probably must win.

An entertaining affair should be in store at Stadion Narodowy.

Poland team news

Captain and talisman Robert Lewandowski didn't travel to Rotterdam at the weekend, but is likely to return up front for this one.

27 of his 76 international goals have been scored at Stadion Narodowy.

Midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak will not win his 92nd international cap here as he's serving a one-match ban due to yellow card accumulation.

So, Szymon Żurkowski could come in alongside Jacek Góralski, or weekend scorer Piotr Zieliński could be deployed in a deeper role.

Matty Cash's first international goal could see him keep his place at right-back, chosen over Bartosz Bereszyński.

Juventus' Wojciech Szczęsny hasn't featured in any of the games this month, meaning Łukasz Skorupski could continue to don the gloves.

Belgium team news

Romelu Lukaku suffered an injury early on against Netherlands on matchday one and hasn't featured since then.

Likewise, first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is also out, meaning Simon Mignolet had played against both Holland and Poland.

Wolfsburg's Koen Casteels was then given just his fourth senior cap in Cardiff on Saturday, so will be hoping to add to that here.

In attack, Michy Batshuayi is set to leave the line, attempting to fill the rather large void vacated by Lukaku.

Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are set to return at centre-back, coming in for Dedryck Boyata and Arthur Theate.

Captain Eden Hazard could come back in as one of the inside-forwards, winning his 120th cap.
