Ireland to win to nil

The forward is expected to once again start for Ireland having impressed in their draw with Belgium.

Ireland continued their impressive form as they earned a draw against Belgium.

Alan Browne scored a late equaliser for Ireland as the game finished 2-2.

Kenny's team failed to qualify for the World Cup as they were only able to get third in Group A.

The Boys in Green finished behind both Serbia and Portugal, however, they finished qualifying strong five games unbeaten.

They even held both Serbia and Portugal to draws.

Lithuania edge past San Marino

Lithuania came close to an embarrassment at the hands of San Marino on Friday.

Urbonas' side just about edged past the minnows as they won 2-1.

However, the goal which they conceded was just San Marino's 2nd goal in 19 matches.

They also failed to qualify for the World Cup as they finished bottom of Group C.

Lithuania earned just three points from eight matches.
