Spain will be looking to maintain their strong start to the Nations League campaign having taken seven points from a possible nine.

Luis Enrique’s side held Germany to a 1-1 draw before defeating both Switzerland and Ukraine.

Ukraine are sat third in League A Group 4 having picked up just three points in a 2-1 win over Switzerland.

The last time both these sides met, Spain emphatically defeated Andriy Shevchenko’s side 4-0.

Ukraine vs Spain: Match preview

Ukraine have had a very tough international break this time around losing to both France and Germany.

On Wednesday, Shevchenko saw his side dismantled by France who won 7-1.

Over the weekend, they then lost to Germany 2-1 in their third Nations League fixture.

The defeat leaves them third with three points, two behind Germany in League A Group 4.

Ukraine’s last meeting with Spain back in September saw them lose 4-0.

Ansu Fati firing

17-year-old Ansu Fati netted his first goal for the Spanish national team in the 4-0 win.

Fati looks set to become a serious star of the future for Spain after being named La Liga Player of the Month for September.

He netted three goals and produced one assist in his first three games of the season.

On Saturday, Fati featured in Spain’s 1-0 win over Switzerland to keep them top of their Nation League group.

Spain lead Germany by three points having taken seven points from a possible nine.

Ukraine team news vs Spain

Ukraine are without two key members in Yevhen Konoplyanka and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Konoplyanka is out with a muscular injury, whilst Zinchenko has just recovered from an injury.

Enrique could make a number of changes from the side that defeated Switzerland on Saturday.

Sergio Reguilon and Sergi Roberto at full-back, whilst Rordi could return to the midfield.

Spain could also shake up their attack with Rodrigo and Adama Traore coming into the line-up.
